Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares the Weirdest Prison-Style Energy Drink They Made; Discover

Gypsy Rose Blanchard reveals a special prison trick with her followers. The 32-year-old, convicted of the second-degree murder of her mother Claudine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard in 2016, provided a glimpse into her antics behind bars by sharing a recipe for a “prison-style energy drink.” on Tiktok.

While Lifetime will launch a docuseries based on Blanchard’s life experiences after prison next month, the new video offers compelling insight into her whereabouts after prison. He presented the energy drink as an alternative to Red Bull and showed how the concoction is made with just four ingredients, step by step.

In response to a fan comment asking about prison makeup tricks and more, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was encouraged to share this gem with her followers on Saturday, May 18. The Lifetime star posted a four-minute video detailing the “prison-style energy drink.” called Racks, which she and her inmates made while in prison with four readily available ingredients: crushed Jolly Ranchers, Kool-Aid Hawaiian Punch Flavor, Strawberry Fanta, and Folgers Instant Coffee.

Before starting, Blanchard warned that the drink was strictly a “non-alcoholic beverage” because it does not promote alcohol on its page. Starting quickly with the first ingredient, Folgers instant coffee, Blanchard mixed a tablespoon of coffee with water in a measuring cup. He then poured the mixture into a bowl.

Emptying a packet of the second ingredient, Kool-Aid Hawaiian Punch, Blanchard admitted, “So everyone in prison usually makes these drinks because…nobody gets Red Bull in prison.” Therefore, this recipe was the decision to create a “homemade Red Bull”. Giving the concoction a few spins, Blanchard reveals that any other flavor of Kool-Aid besides Hawaiian Punch would taste “disgusting.”

Halfway through, the former inmate poured the strawberry Fanta into the bowl to give it a juicy, fruity flavor, much like Red Bull. To intensify the fruitiness of his prison energy drink, Blanchard added a couple of crushed Jolly Ranchers into a now-frothy bowl of prison-style Red Bull.

Finally pouring the strange drink into a glass filled with ice, because drinking it hot would again be “disgusting,” Blanchard takes a big sip and admits that even she didn’t like the drink at first, but eventually “grew” on it. .

Blanchard marked it as something she took with her from prison after serving eight of her ten-year sentence at the center and eventually being released in December 2023.

The video has since gone viral on the internet and has racked up over a million views.

Mother’s Day tribute to Gypsy Rose Blanchard went south

On Mother’s Day earlier this month, Blanchard took to her social media and posted a touching tribute to all the mothers in her life. The TikTok video mentioned her mother Dee Dee, including her stepmother Kristy and the mother of her boyfriend Ken Urker. However, many netizens were offended by Blanchard’s tribute and criticized her with hateful comments online for being conceited and bold.

“Because of what happened with my mother, that should not exempt me from wishing an HMD to the other women in my life… I did not say this because of my balls and audacity, I made this message because I have women. in my life who support me,” she defended herself, according to TMZ. Gypsy Rose also reported several death threats she has received since the video appeared online. She also talked about remembering the good things about her late mother Dee Dee other than “abuse or murder.”

Blanchard’s upcoming Lifetime documentary, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, will premiere on June 3, 2024 at 9 pm ET.
