OnePlus Open 2 expected to arrive in Q1 2025 with improved hinge

OnePlus launched its first foldable smartphone called OnePlus Open last October, but you’ll have to wait longer for its successor as it won’t arrive this year.

The word comes from a reliable informant. Digital chat stationwho claimed that the OnePlus Open 2 will launch in the first quarter of 2025, meaning it could come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC at the helm instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

The tipster also said that the OnePlus Open 2 will have an improved hinge, a slim design, and a foldable display with fewer creases. The smartphone will include a high-resolution clamshell display and could feature a periscope camera.

Since OnePlus Open was a version of Oppo Find N3, Find N4/N5 should be similar to OnePlus Open 2.
